Digital Weld Force Gauges
The Digital-Electronic gauges supply the highest accuracy (99.5% for 95% of the gauge's range), though at a greater cost. These gauges have a large LCD readout with peak-hold capabilities and optional output ports for external monitoring. Both models have extensions available, and since all functions are electronic, variance due to extension-flexing is avoided. The Digital-Hydraulic gauge delivers better accuracy than standard hydraulic gauges at a lower price than the all-digital models. The peak hold feature allows for reading variable forces. Gauges maintain an accuracy of 99% for 30-90% of the gauge's range. All digital gauges have models with capacities of 3,000 lbs. (1360 kg).

Standard Weld Force Gauges
The Standard-Hydraulic gauges are the low-cost method for obtaining general force measurements. These gauges are available in a standard block style with optional extensions. Sizes range from 50 lbs. up to 50 tons with an error margin of 2% at the average value and 3% for 70% of the scale outside the average. Note:
Hydraulic gauges should be selected to be used near their mid-range for
best accuracy. |
