RESISTANCE WELDING CONTROLS
Unitrol
manufactures single phase and 3 phase Microcomputer solid state
resistance welding control systems using either keypad or thumbwheel
data entry. Controls are manufactured on a continuous production line
to handle welders from 1 KVA to 3,000 KVA and larger.
For
more complex welding machines, controls are offered to handle up to 15
SCR contactors and 16 solenoid valves while having the ability to do
over 27,000 steps of logic.
By
design, all Unitrol controls are very easy to program. You don’t have to go to
programming class or have an advanced degree to become an expert on
Unitrol systems.
Controls
feature a minimum of components and utilize designs that eliminate
wiring harnesses and other unnecessary hardware found in competitive
controls. This fact allows Unitrol to offer our exclusive 5 YEAR
LIMITED WARRANTY PROGRAM on all resistance welding controls.
RESISTANCE
FEEDBACK BRAZING is a “niche” market for Unitrol. Our INSTABRAZE
process allows closed loop temperature feedback technology to be
available at an affordable price. This process can replace torch,
induction, and oven brazing on many components and offers a high degree
of quality control with high production speed.
SOFT TOUCH - Soft Touch is a unique resistance welding safety feature available on Unitrol Controls. |
PACKAGED WATER
CHILLERS Because Unitrol originally ran a large spot welding department within the company,
it was recognized early in the game that welding machines without
proper cooling water produced questionable welds and required excessive
electrode dressing and electrode replacement. This led to a companion
WATER CHILLER line manufactured since 1971.
Electrode cooling research published by Unitrol has set the standard in the resistance welding industry.
A
complete line of refrigerated water chillers from 1/3 ton to 50 tons
are available. All chillers are balanced for resistance welding
department use.
T.J. Snow is available to help you
size a system to handle your shop load.
Systems are also
available to cool industrial process water not connected to resistance
welders. These include closed loop refrigerated and non-refrigerated
(up to 100 tons) packaged units. |
